ingredients for sponge:
  • crushed Coconut (roasted)2cup
  • flour 250grams
  • Egg 6 pieces
  • caster sugar 250 grams
  • Baking powder 2 tbsp
  • Butter 3 tbsp
  • Milk 2 tbsp

ingredients for filling:

  • fresh cream 500grams
  • butter ( unsalted) 250 grams
  • Coconut powder 250 grams
  • caster sugar 250 grams
  • Rose petals for garnishing.


  • Cook Raffaello Coconut Cake:
  • Beat egg and sugar in a bowl with the help of electric beater.
  • add baking powder and coconut and mix.
  • add flour and stir with the spoon.add the milk and beat pour mixture into greased cake pan.
  • bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°C for 30 minutes.
  • to prepare filling beat butter, sugar and cream in a bowl placed over a bowl of ice and beat with the help of an electric beater.
  • cut the cake horizontally from the centre and spread a layer of filling on top of one half.
  • place the second half of cake on top and spread cream and coconut on it.
  • garnish with rose petals.
